At Wine Art World we believe "Life is too short to drink wine out of a bad glass".  Our concept is to bring forth a new generation of wine glass culture where art and design meets function.  Let us introduce the Zalto Denk’Art Collection, a hand-crafted, lead-free and dishwasher-safe Austrian crystal stemware.

How it all began:  We, Josef and Aileen, on one of our many visits to Austria were skiing in Kitzbuhel and had lunch at about 6,000 feet above sea level. At lunch we drank a few bottles of wine with our friends and were astonished that at this height in the mountains there were no access roads and we were drinking out of wine glasses that surpass any wine glass available in the finest restaurant in the U.S.

About a year later back in Austria we were introduced to Zalto Denk'Art wine glasses by a close friend who invited us over his house for dinner.  The next day we attended a Riesling wine tasting outside of Vienna and tasted out of the same Zalto glasses we had been drinking out of the night before. At the wine tasting we noticed that one of the most famous French winemakers, who was a guest at the event, asked if he could purchase the Zalto glasses to take back to France.  It was at this very moment we knew we had a winner and a passion to fulfill.

 A few months later, back in the U.S., we signed a contract with the Zalto Family to import the glasses and launched Wine Art World online to be able to provide the Zalto Denk'Art Collection in North America.

As we have just begun our journey, the online shop at the moment only offers the finest mouth-blown Austrian stemware collection, Zalto Denk’Art.  From the first touch, each Zalto glass distinguishes itself from all other glasses.  From the perfectly executed balance to the extraordinary design, the achievement of the Denk’Art collection are glasses that seem too delicate to hold, and yet are made for just that.  This is glassware that stands at the rarefied point where form meets function.  This is art.

The glasses of the Zalto Glass House are not only about design.  They are produced without the addition of lead oxide and are resistant against clouding.  Despite its feather-light weight and delicate edges, the Denk’Art series of glasses maintains all the best attributes of a modern day glass as far as care and longevity are concerned.  The Denk’Art collection are dishwasher-safe and should be considered your everyday glass as well as the glass to use for your most special occasions.
